We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Willowwood Ambergate Glamping Retreat! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing escape. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The ambiance was peaceful and charming, with beautiful surrounds that made the whole experience so special. At first, I came here for the Highland cows, but I fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere. Soaking in the bath at night while looking at the Milky Way feels like pure happiness. ☺️
This is our first glamping experience, and BOY were we absolutely floored! Luxury tents. Love the design and how comfortable it it. Waking up to a beautiful view of the sun rising. A communal unique bbq area and campfire area, but right behind our tent, were our own campfire and Webber. And best of all, seeing the highland cattle, and kangaroos added to its charm. There was a feeding session for the cattle, which was a nice touch! Would love to go again!
Owner was so beautiful and extremely friendly. We were just out for a walk and she brought out carrots for us to feed the cows as well as feeding time at 9am. The tent was absolutely stunning, everything was very clean and very professional. They had a coffee machine, microwave, toaster and sourdough toast as a complimentary present which was beautiful. Will definitely be back!
What can I say, my expectations of the farm/tents and highland cows surpassed my expectations! An amazing place on the farm, from the friendliest and cutest highland cows who love their carrots, to donkeys and of course the puppy dogs. This place has it all to get back to nature and disconnect, slow down and relax. Take a sauna and cold plunge before getting a full body massage.
