I was blown away by the service, the artistry and mastery of the staff at Willow. Every single dish was the embodiment of excellence from the kitchen to the table. I deeply enjoyed the Beet and Avocado Tartare, the Salmon Avocado Toast and the Chef’s Cookie Skillet. The depth of intention from the sauce to the “poached egg” I can just imagine every single dish on the menu is a guaranteed work of art. Made my birthday feel more special than I expected! Thank you for hosting us. Looking forward to next time!
Passive aggressive. It's fine to close the kitchen early, just be minimally polite and tell people who arrive. Don't seat us and then ignore us until we figure it out and leave. Learn to use your words.
Today I shared the mac and cheese, French onion soup, and brisket with my brother. The staff was great, our server Jailene was professional and attentive. The drinks (Dragons den and Lychee pom pom) and soup were our favorite. Food was good and the cookie skillet was better than expected. As a pastry chef, I appreciate when vegan desserts are done well. My only problem was that I wish this restaurant and the other plant-based ones associated with it had a stronger online presence.
