We live in America where everyone from different backgrounds and cultures thrive beautifully. but it's insensitive companies like yours that make it hard for people of color. Employees of color shouldn't feel ashamed of wearing their natural hair or any cultural hairstyle. your flyers for " CRAZY HAIR DAY" were offensive and if you didn't think so, you are part of the problem.
it is extremely troubling that companies in 2020 are still alienating their employees based on their race. when you market "crazy hair day" and depict natural, un-altered African American hair ... that is not only tone deaf and in bad taste, but it's incredibly harmful, isolating and racist towards your ethnic employees. you need to create a fair place of employment where you don't mock minority employees for their natural hair.
It is 2020, we all have the means and access to understand that natural African American hairstyles are not wacky and crazy. I really have to question what type of company you are to be so culturally insensitive and inept as a whole.

Don't designate natural hairstyles as "whacky" or "weird" just because that's not what your hair looks like. That's incredibly racially insensitive.

This facility posted a picture depicting natural hair as a whacky/crazy hairstyle; that post is incorrect and ignorant. I would like to know who made that flyer and what made said person decide that natural hair is "crazy." Willow Valley Communities needs to address this situation and evaluate your company values.

Too large , too spread out, too far to go from apartment to eating areas.
wonderful caring leadership!
Great place to work and live ❤️ Every day I’m been appreciated for job I do ! Great Team members ! Best Community ! Highly recommend !
We found this place purely by accident when we visited friends we had made on a European trip several years prior. We were not planning to move, but fell in love with WV within 24 hours. We have been here about 4 and a half years now and have never looked back once! We find we are more active than we had been in years and have a huge support system. The only "down side" is that the food is sooo good, it's hard not to gain weight!
