In my post-hysterectomy fog in July 2018, an exceptionally kind and caring doctor came into my recovery room at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. All these years I’ve been certain she was named Erica Sandwich, and that I would one day thank her. Alas, I have finally found the amazing Dr Emily Sandwith.
