My mother moved into Willow Place four months ago. It has been a wonderful experience for her, the staff are very caring and I feel I can go to Becky (the director) anytime about any concerns. After being in rehab for months mom was not doing well emotionally. Now she goes to the dining room, talks with staff and other residents and is thriving.
Bad working place. NOC shift med tech and caregiver have to do heavy cleaning at kitchen, dining area, breakroom, restroom, med room and living area on top of regular jobs as caregiver and med tech. The director refuses to deal with issues. No differentiate payment despite of NOC shifts and having to do major cleaning. No respect on privacy, staff look into other staffs drawer, ripped open sealed paystub envelope.
Takes good care of people.
I worked here twice and it was not the best experience at all. First of all I saw some staff steal residents snacks which is not okay to do to begin with. Some staff wore slippers and unprofessional clothing to work. Staff talked rudely about other staff there especially when they themselves don’t really know how to care-give properly. I love this place! This is seriously the best job I've ever had! Things get done, All the residents are very well taken care of. & Becky was such a great boss!
