Just walked out of the salon after the tech took of the gel on my toes. I did not wait for the pedicure to be done as the tech couldn’t find the color I wanted and over an hour had already gone by! When I went up front to pay for the gel removal, the tech told her to charge for a standard gel pedicure. They charged me 80 bucks for a pedicure that I chose not to finish! Sadly, I didn’t argue that at the time and paid the 80 bucks. That’s on me. But I have now asked for a partial refund.
I have been trying to find a new nail salon and have been disappointed so many times. I tried Willow for the first time last week and it looks like I have found my new place. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She explained how the different lines of polish were good for different things and which lines had the exact matches for gel and regular polish. Good artists but pretty bad service overall. Pretty disappointed. We scheduled weeks ago for a wedding group of 3 people (bride, MOH, mom). Salon was running late, messed up the appointments, and did not take accountability for their mistakes. Wouldn’t go back and am now scrambling to get services.
Amazing place! Been here twice and it’s been great each time. Both technicians were skilled, courteous, and able to create exactly what I wanted.
