I have gone here 3 times and had to wait for over an hour each time. I have asked for over 3 months to get my patient notes sent to a specialist and have had no response. There is no receptionist so you have to leave a voicemail or email and the MD never responds. DO NOT GO HERE FOR OUR MEDICAL NEEDS!
Was referred to Dr. Tollefson upon arriving to NC; never thought of finding another doctor. She is great in her approach and is truly interested in her patients well being.
My wife and I have been her patients for more than 5 years and never hesitate to recommend her to our friends.
I saw several Doctors and Nurses when I first arrived in NC and, once I met with Dr. Tollefson, I knew ny serch was over. She is extremely caring and will take the time to explain procedeures, answer my questions and discuss issues. I recommend her any time someone asks.
Dr. Tollefson runs a practice totally different than anything you have ever experienced. She takes all the time necessary to talk through all that the patient needs to know and and carefully and without condescension answers all of my questions. My last visit, for example, she brought me in from the waiting room, had me lay down in an examination room, found me a blanket to keep warm, found my wife a desk lamp to read with so that the light in the room could be turned off.
