Walking into this place it appeared clean, relaxed atmosphere but the food was not good at all. I bought 2 dinners($55.00) and ordered extra sides, major mistake.Ordered dinner #1 for another person they said the jerk chicken was too salty, the mac and cheese was from the box and the collard greens tasted bitter. On my platev#2, the Pork chops were tough to chew,, the lima beans were SOUR and the cornbread in cupcake paper were cooked with NO eggs. Maybe there’s a difference between their actual location and their food truck, because the food truck is awful! I try not to leave bad reviews, even if the food or experience is bad; however, this time, I just have to… I ordered chicken and waffles and asked beforehand if the chicken was wings or strips/tenders. The place could use a facelift, but it's not a bad spot to eat and hang out with family. I bet it was something else before and got repurposed, which is a good thing. I was in Atlanta, needed a quick bite while visiting, my Google search didn't steer me wrong, and the food was awesome. I'm from NYC with a Caribbean palate, so I'm not easy to please. The customer service could definitely be improved. I called and was placed on hold, which I didn’t mind waiting for. However, when I asked what was being served/available that day, I was simply told to go to the website and look. If I’m already on the phone with someone and willing to wait on hold, I feel like taking a moment to explain what’s available would have been much more helpful and customer-friendly. A little more effort and communication would have made the experience much better.
