I used to go here and liked Dr Isbell. Before him I had someone else who retired. I received a notice about 9 months ago that I was due a visit. I tried repeatedly to call, leaving messages yet no one called me back. My NP at Sentara told me they had staffing issues but those were resolved so I tried to call today. The lady on the phone was rude, interrupting me and even ignored me when I commented, "Ok, no one cares." when she cut me off. Update 12/2024 I can’t speak highly enough of Colleen Howard. I was going through what I suspected was miscarriage. My ultrasound was at 11:20, but I had an appointment with another provider to discuss at 1. She stayed past her lunch hour to make sure to discuss the results of my ultrasound, and what my options were. She was kind and compassionate. I called her at 4:30 pm another day and she made sure to take my call. When I returned a week or so later she made sure to check on my mental health and how I was doing. This was ... read more

I regret coming here when I was going through some women’s issues. The doctor knew that I didn’t want to have kids and I wanted an ablation due to my issues. The continued asking about my choice and decision felt very off putting. They also failed to mention that they only perform one type of ablation. Do yourself a favor and avoid this practice and Dr. Isbell. Although I had to travel to Richmond to VCU, VCU’s staff and care was worth EVERY minute of the drive unlike this office.
