I just had a new roof installed and added a couple dormers at the same time. They did have to cut into the attic/roof to complete this. I was told at the time of the work completion to let the auditor know I was NOT adding any bedrooms just fake dormers. The person I spoke with started out nice but quickly got defensive/ angry. Great source of public records. In my experience, the staff is knowledgeable and ready to help. Absolutely beautiful court house!
