Campus is really nice.
I've never been to a gym (university, commercial, etc) and been told no when I asked to borrow a lifting belt or resistance band because I'm not an "athlete" legit I went to UW LACROSSE'S gym and they have 20+ belts and 30+ resistance bands for people to use. they are so important for injury prevention. but here, where I pay $16k a year for, I get told no because I am not an athlete. unreal. let students have access to plenty of belts and resistance bands. they have enough money with all them parking tickets they give and ab... read more
Staff is friendly but the gym policies are unrealistic. If you are a student outside of an athletics lift then you can't use gym provided belts/bands, and I have even been rejected a belt within athletics lift. The bands are crucial for shoulder health, and god forbid I forget my bag that has them. They should be provided given a check out system as the minimum.
