Beautifully rustic, wonderful service from genuinely kind people at the outfitter. I will recommend them to friends and will use them next time I enter through Moose Lake.
My dad and I have planning a BWCA trip for close to five years - it was a “Christmas gift” in grad school back in 2019 and with the pandemic and other life events we had to push it out to August 2024. Great service! Historic looking and cool vibe. I appreciated being able to book over the phone and pay upon arrival rather than booking online without any personal interaction. We used them for our canoe rental and tow service. Everything was super easy, and the folks were friendly. When my mother-in-law arrived out of BWCA, they graciously transported her personal canoe and gear to her vehicle. Plus, they offer hot showers and cold beverages afterward. We'll definitely return!
Great experience - I would highly recommend. They were very helpful and friendly. They even suggested a change to our planned route that saved us some time. Definitely will use them on out next trip!
