Dr. Shaffer is amazing! One of the best experiences I've ever had seeing a doctor. He explained every step of his thought process in an easy to understand manner, and was happy to answer any questions I had (even though I was running a little late for the appointment). He addressed the main complaint I was seeing him for with appropriate tests, imaging, and even wanted me to schedule a follow-up appointment to make sure everything gets taken care of. Best neuro in the whole world. I've been a patient for almost 10 years. If he comes back to practicing anywhere, I'd be thrilled and get on his patient list again.
I am heart broken that he is no longer at UCH, FINALLY a kind , Dr. who COMPLELETLY understands migraines and all the CoMorbidities.....I PRAY he is doing ok and hopefully starts an office in a new location! UCH has NOT helped me since he left, feeling lost...and IN PAIN ! tHANK YOU DR. SHAFFER , WE MISS YOU.....I am searching for a Dr. but no one can fill his shoes!
