highly do not recommend. This is my first experience with his office. I was told to be there 15 minutes early, which I was, I then was asked the same questions that was reviewed during a phone call for intake questions the previous day. I then waited 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment ( I was the first appointment for the day so no reason to be late) to basically only have 5 minutes of his time and was told that my heart issues are minor and to follow up in a YEAR! After experiencing some chest pain, I was seen by Dr. Schmidt. After completing a nuclear stress exam I received a very short & uninformative phone call from him to notify me of an abnormal result. Upon receiving the news, I had many questions but, Schmidt seemed bothered and rushed me off the phone. Feeling empathetic of a doctor's busy schedule, I made a follow-up appointment to allow for more time to address some of the unanswered questions. Dr. Bill Schmidt is probably the finest cardiologist in this area of the country! He has been my cardiologist for over 16 years! This clinical judgment and expertise is second to none. In addition, I know three other individuals who are patients of his, and we all feel the same way! He treats all of his patients as though they were extended family members!!!!!

I only saw him once in the hospital and my distinct impression was that he did not want to be there and couldn't get away quickly enough. Very poor bedside manner.
Dr is not thorough and no bedside manner. Find another Dr.
