Beautiful building really wish you could go inside it
Awesome a beautiful day to climb up the 156 steps to the top. We could see all the way to Philadelphia 50 miles away

Originally built in 1939 as a fire watch tlwer, this tower was also intended to be used as a tourist attraction as well. Sounds like years of weather and activity have taken its toll and the tower is temporarily closed for restoration. The timeline for reopening is unknown but the plan is still active. The grounds are well maintained (except for Smokey... poor guy's seen better days...) and accessible however the gates to the parking area were locked.
