Great Views
Originally built in 1939 as a fire watch tlwer, this tower was also intended to be used as a tourist attraction as well. Sounds like years of weather and activity have taken its toll and the tower is temporarily closed for restoration. The timeline for reopening is unknown but the plan is still active. The grounds are well maintained (except for Smokey... poor guy's seen better days...) and accessible however the gates to the parking area were locked. The view is mind blowing. Also check out the reading pagoda and the Stokesay Castle & The Knight's Pub. If there isn’t an event or wedding going on, the staff will let you explore the castle
