I am so highly impressed with Dr. Schmitt at VM. I had a consultation for DIEP flap. As someone in a large body I knew most surgeons would have a hard no for my body size. Dr. Schmitt and his team treated me like an actual human being, not a number. They listened to all of my concerns, answered all my questions, and even showed me photos of DIEP reconstruction on bodies like mine. He was more than happy to perform a DIEP on me when the time comes. I highly recommend Dr. Schmitt.
Dr.Schmitt is a great Dr. Who is compassionate and I'm lucky to have him as my surgeon. I wouldn't want another Dr.

Dr. Schmitt performed a breast reduction that I got in conjunction with a lumpectomy. I am very happy with the results. He was very pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend.
Dr Schmitt is a fantastic surgeon! There are not enough Stars here as he’s a 10 plus! Dr Schmitt gave me options for my recent breast reconstruction surgery after my breast cancer. He educated me and answered my questions. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is overall just a wonderful person. I would highly recommend Dr Schmitt for any plastic surgery needs.
