Malpractice does not begin to describe how Khieu operates as a doctor. I am appalled and horrified how he addressed my family member when I had to assist with his medical appointments. I tried to explain the ongoing and progressing situation with my family member who is no longer able to advocate for themselves and was dismissed. He prescribed artichoke tea, intermediate fasting, and coconut oil to a recent stroke and heart failure patient as a way to "get better". Dr. Kieu was the first doctor to implement strategies outside of just prescribing a large amount of medicine. Rather than focusing on keeping me on medicine long term, I was able to continue my original diet along with his recommendations of only eating after 11am and before 7pm along with drinking artichoke tea and not eating fruit. Only drinking water, black coffee, or tea. I do not recommend this doctor. I saw him because my primary doctor wasn’t available. At first, it seems like he’s listening to you because he doesn’t dismiss (at least not outrightly) whatever medical issue you are complaining about, and he will claim he’ll do whatever it takes to figure out the problem. However, there are many red flags: He ordered a bunch of tests, some of which seemed a bit odd. Given that my condition at this time is symptoms without obvious/known cause(s), I figured it give it the benefit of the doubt.... read more
