Dr. Hope does an excellent job with laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. He repaired one on the left side for me approximately five years ago and repaired one on the right two weeks ago. In both cases I only needed over the counter ibuprofen for pain relief for a day or two. The hernia repair from five years ago is holding strong as I expect the repair from two weeks ago will also. No complications or recurrence.
Dr.Hope has a spirit and beside manner that is exceptional. He listen to his patients and response in lamen terms......I truth him with my life! Especially since he save it!!!
Never got an appointment after my surgeon called Dr.Hope about my hernia situation and sent two referrals. I called the office and did not like the message on the answering machine which was something like if I call back I will be put further down the list. So basically, I was allowed one phone call. I waited a day after I called and then called Duke Hospital and got a referral and appointment in less than 24 hours.
Best hernia surgeon in NC. Believe me I know. He repaired two inguinal hernias and one hiatal. No problems at all since!
