I have known Dr. Hickerson for over 12 years. He is one of the most skilled surgeons I have ever met. He has changed thousands of lives across the world and continues to save lives and change lives for victims of severe burns and physical disabilities. Dr. Hickerson is considered one of the best cosmetic and burn surgeons in the world. Some idiot decided to give him one star which is completely misguided and irrational. I worked with Dr. Hickerson in the past, he is very dedicated to providing THE BEST care to EVERY patient he cares for. He has excellent bedside manner and is one of the hardest working persons I have ever met. He is one of the most knowledgeable and highly respected physicians in his field. The one poor rating for all of the thousands of lives he has saved should be dismissed.
April 4,2012 I was flown from Chattanooga,Tn to Memphis. Dr.Hickerson and his Amazing team were waiting for me. I was severely burned over 80% of my body from taking pencillin and having an Allergic reaction which caused me to have Steven Johnson Syndrome and TENS. Before Dr.Hickerson had even seen me the Doctors in Chattanooga had given me a 10% chance of survival! But today it's been 6 years and I am here.
