12-15-24 - Message to everyone - do NOT call or use WH Metcalfe and Sons Inc in Clinton, MD for any type of work - period. Their management is horrible and irresponsible. Here's why: My home builder recommended that I call Metcalfe when I had cooling problems with the Fujitsu Split HVAC unit Metcalfe installed in our room above the garage. They had two technicians that came to our house on 9/13/24 and told me there was no freon, re-charged it, told me there was a leak somewhere but would not check where it was. My new D.R.Horton home warranty team contacted them for water leak issue on my heater unit. First person came and did nothing to identify the cause. Just vacume and clean the water leak. I did found water leak from inside unit. I sent some picture. 2nd person came to verify my picture are real. He informed me that they will place the order for part replacement. Have used them for 7 years. They did the install new. Nothing but good service and understanding when/if things go wrong. Office staff always there for me when scheduling too. Lewes DE. Office/crew

Absolutely awful company. Unfortunately, our warranty is contracted out to them so we have to use them because we don't want to void any of our warranties for our house. This will be our third time needing them to come out. The first, the person was supposed to come out & install dampers and after that someone was supposed to come out and check them to make sure things got fixed- the second person never showed up because "they needed more time to make sure things worked" and that Metcaff would be in contact with us, but we n... read more
