I met Dr. Johnson via referal for bariatric surgery. I was skeptical and at a very depressive state in my life at the time. After I met Dr. Johnson, he put me at ease, was kind, NON JUDGEMENTAL, gave me excellent advice on which surgery to get (sleeve) for my situation. He has an excellent team that works with you. Nutritionist Brooks is awesome. And Kisha the coordinator is my angel. If it wasn't for her, I would have backed out of the whole thing due to my fear. This was the best decision ever

Dr. Johnson is very good, but his practice staff is terrible. They schedule patients for appointment times, but completely ignore what an appointment really means and simply use them to stack the waiting room and keep the doctors busy. They have zero regard for the simple courtesy of providing you with an appointment time and honoring it. We're not talking about a practice where the doctors can be called to an emergency that causes delay. There is no respect for patients and their time.

Dr. Johnson performed gastric bypass surgery for me in May 2013. He explained in great detail his requirements of patients and compliance with these. Surgery was very successful and without any complications. Nearly 2 years out and I see him every year for follow up. I am very pleased that I drove the extra distance to Johns Creek for surgery.
