Dr. Pientka is always on top of my Hand condition. He is easy to talk too, even when he is obviously very busy. He listens and is clear on best next step. He does what I choose to do, not what he wants to do. He did my hand surgery and he was correct, my pain was significantly reduced. It's been almost a month since surgery. To be clear I went from severe pain(8-9 range) that was a constant dull aching pain to just a sore pain(1-3 range) pain immediately after surgery. Dr. Pientka has absolutely no regard for his younger patients. Particularly those with disabilities as well as chronic illness. He lacks sympathy and will continuously cut you off mid sentence. Horrible bedside manner when speaking to a patient with communication issues. He states that he knows better than the patient due to his “15 years experience” in the field, rather than taking the time to listen to the patient’s symptoms and daily struggles to function. Dr. Pientka and all of his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He (and his staff) treats everyone with respect and does everything within their power to answer any and all questions or concerns you might have.
