Dr. Dougherty is a genius. I am so thankful for this man. I received a botched wide excision by another doctor that left my face with what my primary care doc called a “considerable cosmetic defect.” It was a nightmare. Dr. Dougherty fixed my face! The scarring is minimal, which is amazing in its own right but especially after what the other doctor did. He is truly gifted, not to mention kind and incredibly thorough. I am so, so grateful for him.
This man helped save my life after surgical complications from breast reconstruction in 2019. He got me in immediately and took care of me every step of the way.
My husband just got a hernia operation from Dr. Dougherty, at Holy Cross hospital, which entailed some unexpected difficulties. Dr. Dougherty couldn't have been more competent or helpful. He took these complications in stride. He's also very well liked and admired by the staff at HCH as a good, conscientious man. We highly recommend him.
