I had an appendectomy on January 12 2022. Dr. William Dunavant introduced himself and informed me what was going to take place. He broke everything down like Barney style..not really, but really lol. He made me feel very comfortable, which made me put my mind at ease. He is a very nice person and really care about his patients! Everything turned out great, he is definitely the BEST! As a woman of color; I am always weary of doctors but Dr. Dunavant is amazing! I didn’t feel rushed or unheard. He explained everything to me. He was checked in on my. && his staff is great as well. Nurse Rick is genuine person and always kept an open line of communication with me! He was honest and showed real concern for me. He eased all my nerves and checked on me in my days following surgery. Definitely sending everyone I know in need of general surgery to him!
