If you have any kind of problems DO NOT go to this man. I had a 50 minute couples counseling session with him I spoke for 5 mins my husband spoke for 45 mins. At the end of the session he asked me if I wanted to reschedule for next week. I said to him I would like that cause I didn't even get to say anything. He looked directly at me and said "well your the problem" I said I didn't even get to say anything. He said " WELL LOOK HOW YOU ARE ACTING NOW. DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE ANY DIFFERENT". Professional, insightful, intelligent, helpful, honest and compassionate,
Dr. Connor has been my therapist for numerous years. I have been to many therapists over the years always wanting to improve in someway or another. I found other therapists were either too aggressive or not aggressive enough. He was always my go to or go back to doctor. Honestly I never found anyone else that could keep me in the zone that I needed to be in for my daily existence. Dr.Connors has been fantastic, he’s willing to work with any individual on any issue. His experience and understanding that he can’t relate to everything but gives the best possible example to try to navigate the tangled web that is the human psyche. Definitely if you need someone to talk to I highly advise it!
Saw Dr. for couples therapy and spent the first 10 mins of every session waiting for him to send us a link so we could even talk. In session, discussion was not productive and IMO involved some sexism on the Dr’s part. Ex: we attempted to discuss a situation involving our child's safety over 2 sessions. In the 1st, we made little progress toward addressing the actual safety concern, which upset me.
