Dr Annear was assigned to me after my previous dr left the practice. On my first visit, within less than five minutes, he wanted to change all my medications and add meds I did not want. I expressed to him that I wasn’t willing to change what works, and he was dismissive. One of the meds he wanted to put me on was similar to one I’d previously had very bad side effects with. Dr Annear is my PCP and has been one for a number of years. He has a scribe now to take care of typing the necessary information for the EMR requirements in this fast paced world of medicine. He has his patients health care in his mind. He does a good job at checking out symptoms sometimes without my realizing he is doing so. He does sometime lose paperwork but responses many questions I have sent him with the new EMR system.

sits and types on his computer filling out chechboxes, does a poor exam. treating me for hypertension - never checked my blood pressure or directed me to lose wweight - just prescribed meds. very poor bedside manner. unresponsive to calls placed to his medical assistant - as much as a week delay. Needs to retire
