Dr. Berger is the most compassionate and thorough doctor I have encountered. He is very knowledgeable, explains everything in detail and is willing to go an extra mile to make the patient feel comfortable and confident. I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent physician.
Dr, Berger took care of my mom. She was very sick with the pulmonary embolism. Dr. Berger was advocating on my mom’s behalf with all hospitals doctors and because of him she is still alive. He is the best and I wish this world would have more doctors like him.
My mom went to see Dr Breger she was extremely dizzy and tired slurred speech we told him we thought she had a mini stroke he said no she has vertigo and sent her home with no testing she ended up in hospital next day ! She didn’t have vertigo she had a mini stroke ! This Dr doesn’t care at all for his patients DO NOT use this Dr if you value your life !
So today 12/20 I had an appointment with dr Berger at 2:45. Because there was so much traffic probably due to holiday shopping it took almost 45 min to get from syosset to his office. I arrived at 2:58 after also calling to let the doctor know I was late due to traffic. They proceeded to let me sit and wait for 20 min only to tell me that he wouldn’t see me because I was late. I was seen by Dr. Berger on 10/19/2021. Prior to my appointment I knew nothing about him except that he was relatively new to Internal Medicine at the Mt. Sinai - Greenlawn, NY, practice. I was very impressed by his professional, but warm manner and felt confident in his expertise in treating my medical concern. He even phoned me personally with results of my blood work — something that is all too rare these days. I would not hesitate to see him again in the future should the need arise.
