Dr. Holgerson is the best primary care physician I can imagine. He is as kind and caring as he is competent and knowledgeable. His patience seems inexhaustible. He has helped me and my husband through multiple medical issues, including the illness that claimed my husband's life. He has supported me in dealing with a chronic blood cancer, which has been a very taxing, complex multi-year journey. He's always available for an email, call and even a panicked, tearful visit. Dr. Holgerson and I have grown up together! That is I am just slightly younger and he can relate to my aging health needs. He listens well, gives steady advice, and relays a common sense approach to health care. During COVID his steady, balanced views of the care patients need to take was calming. The few times I had problems that required hospitalization he and his office walked me through every step and the follow through were great. Professional, caring, thorough- that is how I would describe him.
