I walked into the store without many expectations, just browsing for a wedding gift for a friend. I've patroned this William Ashley a few times over the years, almost always for the purchase of premium wine glasses ($100+ per stem range). I'm afraid to say I've never had a good experience. It's almost as if the sales staff are deliberately and purposefully trained to be rude and make customers feel small (it's a "legit" sales technique some high end boutiques deploy to make you, the patron, feel like you have to prove your worth to them). I was disappointed to receive my online order of glasses, small and large. Both were from the same brand however the large glasses don’t have the same base as the small ones. I inquired why they aren’t as pictured from their online site and was told they CAN be different however the overall shape is the same. They look odd together and as far as I’m concerned, they are not a match.
