We took my grandfather to him for YEARS to get help with his medicine since he’s gotten violent and abusive with his dementia and was told “most old people have warrants out for their arrest” so to not worry. I don’t know what reality this doctor is living in where most all people have domestic violence warrants but that is the most inappropriate and unhelpful thing I have ever heard.
Dr Stinson is amazing. He’s personal and professional. I’ve had many Dr’s over the years and he’s by far the best. Hopefully he will continue to practice for many years to come. He’s definitely found a life long patient.
His office does not return patients' calls. If you are lucky and get a callback (4 days later), they tell you to go to urgent care. I have been a patient of Dr. Stinson for years but saw him only for annual checkups. I was sent to urgent care every time I needed to see him when I was sick. I think his office does not have ill-visit appointments, even though he is a primary doctor. He does not review blood work either. He writes that the results are not concerning.
