Loved this cute historical bed and breakfast. Located close to the pagent, walking distance to all the shops. Laura is sweet and takes good care of you! Highly recommended!
What can I say about the Willard Richard's Inn that hasn't already been said? The hospitality was world class, the inn keepers were so kind and took so much time to explain the significance of different parts of the building, the people who lived there and early Nauvoo. Beautifully restored 1840's home with additions added in late time periods. Rooms are decorated in period motifs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
This place is fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Nauvoo experience. The rooms are well decorated with historical artefacts. Staying here makes the Nauvoo experience just so much more memorable. Great hosts and great service. What a treat.
Willard Richards was a friend to Joseph Smith and one of the four brethren falsely imprisoned at Carthage Jail when Joseph and Hyrum were martyred. I've stayed in this historic home several times. It was built in the early 1800's and is in spectacular condition! So beautiful, and right there in the old town of Nauvoo. You can walk to all of the attractions from this home.
