RecommendedAt the high school. the administration is responsive and compassionate to kids. The band, choir, and drama departments are outstanding. Academics are appropriately challenging. My children have worked hard and have/will graduate with several college credits.
This school district has some serious problems. For one, the kids are not very friendly. As a matter of fact, you're most likely to get a full group on you for the smallest of things, and the admission does jack about it. Speaking of, the administration never properly communicates when events are happening, they appease bullying and harassment, and purposefully target kids who try their hardest to follow the rules. Agreed with diamond.
I have been in and heard many beginning bands, but I have never heard a 6th grade band play like this one. The instruments were well tuned, they stayed together, the brass, particularly the bass instruments, were amazing. They've got a great start to an amazing HS band.
I love this school. Not only does it constantly produce excellence but it also builds community. I have absolutely loved growing up in Willard! #whsthebest
