We have been trying to do a VA refinance and let me tell you this has been a nightmare!!!! We signed all of our closing papers last Friday (finally after months of hell) and were supposed to fund this Tuesday (yesterday). Well that's not happening now because they put the wrong information on a document and told us it wouldn't cause any problems at all and we will still fund tuesday. Most horrible experience I have EVER had. In all my years in Real Estate have I ever encountered such unprofessionalism. They took our first payment to our mortgage and never applied it to the account. And now we are showing that we are in default. No one wants to take responsibility for the mistake they have made.
