I love ice cream with my pie, but soft serve doesn't do it for me. You share Oregon with Umpqua and Tillamook ice cream producers, so why not get good quality ice cream from one or both of those companies? Or any number of others that produce a good and respectable scoop? You have huge potential, and could easily do so much better! Go for the best coffee! The best ice cream! And the best freshly baked pies! Redecorate the dining area, so it doesn't resemble a dark basement cafeteria! You do all that, and your biggest problem... read more

Business response:

Hi David! We appreciate your feedback. We do try to support as many local businesses as possible. In fact, both the coffee company and ice cream brand we use are local companies that we are proud to support. We currently have plans in the making to move our seating area to somewhere near windows to give natural light and view of the gorgeous outdoors we are blessed to be surrounded by. I'm glad your feedback matches with the plans we have in place! We hope that you visit us again in the future and like the changes we make! B... read more

I love this place year round as the best place for a treat - so many flavors of pie to choose from, plus yummy scones and turnovers. I always get mine a la mode because the soft serve vanilla is the perfect complement to the pie. Then in the summer, I also love coming here to pick berries. They have the most kinds of blackberries and tons of full blueberry and raspberry bushes. So many good memories of being here with my children over the years, and now with my grandson.

Business response:

Thank you for the support, Jill! We hope to see you again soon!

The crust was horrible we used to buy am quite often but lately the crust is absolutely almost hard to eat.. In fact we didn't eat it we threw it out! Sorry

Business response:

Hi Marie, I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the crust. I would love to offer you a different product in return. We take all feedback seriously and track quality back to specific batches, etc. If you are willing, it would be very beneficial to know where you got the pie, what flavor and if you still have the box, the lot number. Please email the information to chantelle@wvpie.com if possible! Thank you for your feedback!

I would like to share a letter to the editor published in the Silverton, Mt Angel, Scott's Mills Our Town paper today. This hits very close to our hearts as the person who wrote is is a longtime friend, the person he wrote about was our beloved Papa Eddy who recently passed away, and an amazing act of kindness by a business.
