Dr. Wilkerson is the most kind-hearted vet and loves each one of her patients. You can tell she cares for your baby like her own. She has been caring for my 2 dogs for 6 years (a senior dog and one from a puppy) and for my sisters dogs for the same amount of time. When my puppy threw an absolute fit about getting her nails trimmed for the first time, she and the tech never got frustrated and got it done for me even though the 45 pound dog was thrashing around and crying like a psycho. Dr Wilkerson is an angel on earth, truly a compassionate person. She is sweet, patient and kind. She saw both my babies, one a Very old rescue and one a puppy, for years. When she found my rescue was covered in cancer, she helped me take care of her for as long as I could with special medication and food, until she had a seizure and was dying, we decided to put her to sleep, she did it in the most kind and caring manner, took her time and let me take mine. She made me tell the horrible story of why I had to put down my Frankie who I had raised from 4 weeks old as a kitten. She wouldn't let my husband talk. She wouldn't even look at him. I was sobbing and holding my baby. She told me to go somewhere else if I couldn't tell her. There is no reason my husband couldn't tell her. He was standing right there. She was cold and heartless. I love Dr. Wilkerson, she really cares about pets and she gives our babies the best care and attention. She calls to follow up after vet visits to make sure everything is going well. I highly recommend Dr. Wilkerson and her partner at Crossroads animal hospital Dr. Howard. Love them both!!
