Delightful cottage, beautiful grounds. A lovely and enjoyable stay.
Wilkadene Cottage is the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday. It is nestled beside a quiet backwater of the Murray and only a 10 minute drive out of Renmark for groceries etc. Tom and Sarah manage the cottage as well as the incredible Woolshed Brewery, which is a convenient walk through the garden from the cottage. We stayed for a week in January and were very comfortable with good air-conditioning, and lots of time playing in the river. Just spent a lovely 3 nights here. Weather was perfect for July and the location and cottage was the best. They think of everything. Nice drop of hard lemonade at the brewery next door too 😃
We used our River Revival voucher to stay here and loved everything about the cottage. Normally when I stay in the Riverland we go in the summer months but it was stunning in the winter. The leaves falling from the trees made a beautiful yellow carpet on the back lawn. My grand daughter loved checking the chickens' nesting boxes for eggs and was excited to find 2 eggs that she ate for breakfast. The property has plenty of outdoor space. Wonderful place to sleep 6 right on the river. Great outdoor area with fire pit and bbq. Surrounded by beautiful gardens it’s peaceful and quiet. Owners are friendly and helpful. Pets are welcome and the brewery is just next door. House has everything you need. Just be aware there’s only 1 bathroom.
