Today my mom and I came to eat at Wilamenas as my mom's friend had seriously overhyped this place up way too much. I'm a cook. I'm very southern myself. And for this to be black owned business the food was VERY VERY BLAND!!! People expect SEASONED FOOD when coming to a black owned restaurant. Then you got these white folks coming out raving how good it was THATS BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT GOOD FOOD ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE THEMSELVES hell they not even seasoned! I’m unsure if Sunday (Father’s Day) was an off day but the food was horrible. There was absolutely no seasoning on NOTHING. The sweet tea didn’t even have flavor. The staff was super friendly that’s the only reason 2 stars were given. I use to love this place
