We had an unforgettable mid week getaway at the beautiful Wilga Station for my fiancés 30th. The perfect place to disconnect from the rush of everyday life and fully immerse in the beauty of the countryside. Every detail of the stay was beautifully considered thanks to Mez and Hamish. We’re heading home feeling relaxed and rejuvenated dreaming of our next stay.
This place is THE perfect weekend getaway. Everything you need is supplied. We were there in autumn so chilly nights and warmish days. We lit the fire and it warmed the place up quickly and it was so warm and cosy. We took a scenic country drive to Millthorpe for a coffee and a stroll. A fantastic getaway on a beautiful rural property. Everything that was needed was thought of in the Farmer's Hut. We were surrounded by gorgeous scenery, had beautiful walks to the creek, were close to Bathurst and check in and out were seamless. We would highly recommend for a relaxing break!
We are a family of 7 with elderly folks and a young toddler and found ourselves exceptionally well taken care of in the shearers hall. All the amenities were great , we even did a little trek to the creek which was beautiful. A lot of information on nearby to-do’s. One of our best stays in our family travels.
This is our second time to visit Wilga Station. We feel like home with their hospitality at farmer’s hunt. Hamish and Mez are great to keep the farm well-maintained and also evolving. It is exciting to know the farm is developing new attractions eg vege garden and mini-golf et. Will definitely recommend to everyone who would like to have a fulfilling sheep farm stay experience.
