Jake and his crew are great to deal with. They took the time to discuss all of my concerns and test drive my car before beginning to work on it. They kept me up-to-date by phone and email about the status of the work. I never felt like I was being rushed or talked down to. I've had my '01 M Coupe since new, so it means a lot to me to deal with people who understand how special the car is to me. I'll definitely be using Wile for any work I need done in the future, even though it's a 2.5 hour round trip to their shop.
I’ve been burned many times by shops claiming to be specialists, but Jake Wile and his team truly back it up. I drive over 250 miles for their services, and although I’ve found closer options that likely could do what I need, none I trust as much. Spend a little time here and you’ll see, they’re not just skilled, they genuinely care and are enthusiasts through and through.
Wile just shortened e60 m5 final drive on e53 4.6is X5 which is manual swapped. The e60 m5 diff is 3.62 ratio which is too tall for it, I went with a 3.91 final drive and now my 4.6is is more peppy off the line. Much appreciated, most shop won’t touch this manual swapped X5. Highly recommended!
The crew at Wile is amazing. Very knowledgeable and are willing to help with anything. They treat you like family rather than a customer. Would 100% recommend.
