We brought our own SUPs and did the Livin' the Dream Paddle. It was an amazing mother/son bonding paddle. I was worried the route would be too close to town, but it is beautiful and secluded enough to have a peaceful "wow" feel while still feeling very safe. I grew up in the area and never had any idea that part of the WI river was so gorgeous! It was a gentle float with mild paddling until the river opens up and it is a bit of a slog to the lake. This Newly Updated Campground has all your camping requirements met. From spacious full hook ups, waterfront tent sites, and accommodating seasonal sites. You will be on the edge of the Famous Chain of Lakes. Lunch or Dinner, they have you covered with phenomenal food from brats to pizza to Friday Fish Frys. Oh and save room for Ice Cream. My 15 year old son and I had the most fabulous experience tubing today! Have been blown away by the hospitality in this amazing part of the US, and Wildwood was no exception! The girl in the office (I think her name is Reece) could not have been more helpful. Also Greg who took us to the tubing and explained everything so thoroughly, he was super professional and helpful. All in all a great service and activity, highly recommended!!
We loved it here. Very friendly staff. RV spot was very spacious. I do recommend you bring your own Wi-Fi if you depend on wifi . Very spotty service. So much to do here. We'll return.
