A short but steep trail with big payoffs in views. From the top you can see the city and mountains clearly. I went at golden hour and the light was gorgeous. There’s plenty of space to sit and take it in. Great for a quick workout
Great place to hike and spot wildlife, coyotes, horned lizards, deer, snakes and birds. Bring water and pack out what you pack in.
Not a hike to be scoffed at if you're on foot in the middle of summer like I was. The wilderness is great and majestic and there are many trails to explore with some interesting stops and some wildlife to see along the way. I saw many deer and a lynx in the parking lot. Also the old house is a good place to rest in the shade and get some water.
Awesome day discovering this trail. Very picturesk. Can't wait to return and explore more .
