My dad was a Hudson Dealer from 1927-1962. I still love them...The first 1954 Hornets came in with a hotter cam, probably a 7x...It shook a little bit, mostly you would notice in the Automatics...The factory authorized them being replaced. I can still remember burning my knuckles on the exhaust manifold. In 1954 the Hyrda Maitic Factory burned down, and the auto's came thru with Borg Warners. transmissions.
Thanks to Doug and his Crew for a great roundtrip at the shop. You all was very knowledgeable and serviceminded, a true inspiration for me as i am restoring my 1952 Hornet.
Many thanks to Doug and Terri and the entire Wildrick crew! They transformed my prize 48 Commodore 8 from a habitual flat-bed customer to a dependable powerful highway cruiser. My 800 mile drive home from the shop was fast and trouble free. Expertise, great work, great people. This is where Hudsons get new life.
