Driving up one of the main streets and something catches my eye- couldn’t believe it. Asked to pull over. We get out and approach…..yeah my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me. This is appalling. Disturbing. And eerie. And for it to be right next to their city hall should tell you all you need to really know……….crazy touch to display a colored girl that never entered your building on the outside of your establishment. This whole little town feels super creepy. For you to make it a historical type thing is crazy lol- you have a... read more
This shop is beyond disturbing, it is vile. It doesn’t just “display history,” it parades racism like a badge of honor. The shelves are lined with hateful, disgusting memorabilia that spits in the face of human decency. Nothing about this place is educational or respectful; it’s a shrine to bigotry. Walking inside feels like stepping into the worst parts of America’s past, except here it’s celebrated instead of condemned. The fact that this store is still allowed to exist is an embarrassment. This shop doesn’t “preserve hist... read more
I went in here recently, and it has been by far the best antique store I’ve been too. The employees are amazing(as well as their cute dog)! It shows history in its raw form and the story of wildman is very interesting. The employees working there are helpful and enjoyable to talk with. Take any negative reviews with a grain of salt, this store is simply showing history in its raw form
What an amazing store! Went in last week and had a great chat with the employees there. They know a lot about the history of kennesaw. As an immigrant and history lover, it was extremely interesting! You'll find something new to look at everywhere- and most of it is for sale too. I cannot recommend this store enough. I will be coming back soon to pick up some stuff. ~J
It's been a long time and Dent is gone, but I'm sure it is pretty much the same. If you want to see the real stuff and not behind a glass go in here. I'm happy it's still open. Just because you don't want to see it doesn't mean others don't.
Wildman's Dent Myers has a 3.4 star rating with 136 reviews.
