Wildland Firefighter Foundation's main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families. We honor and acknowledge past, present, and future members of the wildland firefighting community, and partner with private and interagency organizations to bring recognition to wildland firefighters. We had a great time. Mike Baker was very entertaining. Great crowd. Easy access.
I’ve been fighting fire for 36 years and this was the first time I’ve ever been to the WFF and it is remarkable. I saw pictures of old acquaintances that I had crossed paths with on the Fire line during my career. I was happy to see the tributes on the wall.
Words can not describe how much this place will touch your soul.
Great place to visit and purchase clothing for wildland firefighters that isn't nomex! They provide support for families of wildland firefighters for various reasons as well as honor and recognize the firefighters. They have a great collection of hotshot shirts.....I don't think they are for sale, but they cover the walls, you can get a drink upstairs, purchase a pair of JK boots, and I've attended a few classes to maintain or advance my qualifications there as well.
Very nice tribute to fallen wildland firefighters. We wanted to go and see my father n laws brick and photo and came in on a Friday. It was quiet and we were the only ones there which was really nice. It was a place that kind of hits you with all sorts of emotions at the door. The photos cover the walls. It's just a really cool place and very well put together. The employees were great too, very helpful and even offered to take a picture for us.
