Very nice rangers but hours were hard to predict.
When I visited in late August many of the plants were so high I felt like I was in a corn maze. There are several trails so you can experience more varieties of plants. The park's interpretive learning center is also here and modern bathrooms. Lovely morning on the trails. Muddy in areas but lots of wildflowers and beautiful lush green.
Great experience. Well marked trail. Numerous wildflower species. Some were labeled. Not as many as last year. Park rangers indicated that the flowers had come and gone more quickly this year, yet, plenty to enjoy.
