I have been staying with the Wilderness for over 10 years now. Within those 10 years we have stayed at the Wilderness on the lake about 3 times now. If you are vacationing with family or friends there is a lot of space to there rooms. We usually have around 6 to 8 people and everyone has a comfortable space to sleep and lots of room to move around. Rooms are clean. Nothing spectacular but efficient. Beds are comfortable. My family went with a group of friends, so 13 of us total, we stayed in a 3-bedroom with loft condo in August 2025. The layout of the condo is fine and it was nice having a kitchen with cooking and eating utensils. My beef is with housekeeping. The bathroom had hair within the folds of the shower curtain, there was hair behind the toilet, dead bugs in the drinking glasses, dirty plates in the cupboard, greasy stove display and handle, and dirty cookware. Loved the two bedroom condo mu wife and I stayed at. So spacious. The hot water jacuzzi relaxed my stiff muscles from the Dells activities.
Simply beautiful
We had access to Wilderness on the Lake via boat and the shuttle. Beautiful, scenic spot, which boasts an indoor and outdoor Waterpark suitable for parents with younger children. The infinity pool was an added bonus. If you're looking for some place less crowded and hectic this is the place is for you.
