Well worth a visit. While there check out Observation Point.
First time going to Wildcat SP. The park attendant at the office was very informative and helpful. We stopped at the overlook and enjoyed the beautiful view of the river valley. Two of my buddies bought Wildcat stickers for their bikes. The park was well worth the ride to the top. It's a beautiful place to explore. I'd like to go back and explore the hiking trails sometime.
My kayaking friends and I camped here while kayaking the Kickapoo River in Ontario WI. It's a beautiful park with good trails and amazing views of the valley from the lookout points. I was disappointed by the large surcharge for a campsite and park pass because I'm not a WI resident, but the park itself is great.
Wildcat, mildcat, where’s-that-cat? High on a hill in a hardwood hat. Claw up the ridge, paw down the trail, twist through the timber and dip through the dale.
