We stayed in the separate log cabin on the property in the honeymoon suite. A very large room with a great stone fireplace and awesome shower. The views off the outdoor porch are of the beautiful surrounding hills. From the accommodations to the owner and staff, everything was just right for our anniversary stay!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Wildberry Lodge! Our family of four — my husband, our two teenagers, and myself — spent two nights there and couldn’t have been more comfortable. The rooms were spacious and cozy, and our kids loved the game room and all the sweet animals on the property. Absolutely beautiful Wildberry Lodge with a stunning location, friendly owner and staff, and amazing food. We decided to splurge for our 30th anniversary, so we stayed in the Blackberry Suite. The king bed was comfy, the sitting room was nice, we even sat some on our private balcony. The bathroom was very large with lots of counter space. We never turned on the TV once while we there. My husband & I did a birthday getaway to Asheville- this lodge was not far at all from Asheville. Best of all it was super quiet with beautiful Mountain Views! The best part was the wonderful owner/ host Glenda and her sweet rescue dogs that came to greet us daily. Her multi course breakfasts were to die for and nightly happy hour was a nice bonus. We would highly recommended!
This place is wonderful. The views are fantastic and Glenda the owner was attentive and kind.
