Food and service were very good. This is a very old school ma & pa restaurant which usually consist of the best food as it's not prepackaged and microwaved. I would recommend to PLEASE get real Butter and Syrup. Your cakes and waffles are so good and the Fake Butter and Syrup ruins the taste. I grew up in a family owned restaurant in the 70's - 90's and your food resembled my mother's restaurants. Your potatoes were the best I've had in many years! I really wish I would've gotten pictures of our food, but we just absolutely inhaled it, not going to lie. First impressions, it's really cute in here. Cozy, simple, and homey. The owner's family I believe was here hanging out and chatted with us, the owner is super friendly as well. Now, I'm going to attribute any tiny issues we had to the fact that we came in with the bad weather and he wasn't expecting anyone to waddle in. I was not pleasantly greeted, I understand that you might be busy and overwhelmed, but being my first time there and finally saying something around ordering and having a seat. Food was cold when received it. I understand stuff in restaurant business doesn't run smoothly, but first impressions is key. I will stick with IHOP or Dennys.
