My 7 year old son attended a Bush Skills Day, he said he absolutely loved it. He described it as “fun, great and good" and especially enjoyed learning how to build a shelter. He was really proud of how much he learned. What I appreciated was that the day was more than just bush skills, it also supported confidence building and social development. My kids attended the Intro to Bush Skills one day workshop and absolutely loved it. The program is amazing — engaging, hands on, and so thoughtfully put together. Nelson is incredibly passionate about his work and it really shows. The kids learned so much, built confidence, and had heaps of fun at the same time. Highly recommend this experience for any family looking for adventure, learning, and connection with nature.

Nelson the holistic head instructor from Wild & Wise Tribe shared a wealth of knowledge about the bush, the importance of community, and connection to Country. My son, who is 8, was able to connect with his hunter-gatherer roots and bond with his little tribe, working together as a team to gain fundamental skills like creating shelter, building a fire, and filtering water. Intro to Bush Skills for Neurodivergent children. This day program was fantastic! The hands-on learning was engaging, and the instructor, Nelson, did an excellent job especially when he used visuals to explain key concepts. That really helped make the information more engaging and accessible. My son was thrilled to finally get the chance to light some fires in a safe, supervised environment something he’s been wanting to do for a long time. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommended!

My daughter came back from her 'Intro to Bush Skills, Mindfulness & Survival techniques' workshop happy & excited. She loved to make a fire & a camp, play games & learn knots. Even in the heavy rain... Amazing 😊
